Recommended Dosage
Research dosing: 200–400 mg/week performance; 100 mg/week TRT-adjunct. Front-load week 1 at 600 mg to compress saturation from 4–6 weeks to 2–3. Cycles 14–18 weeks to exploit the long ester.
How It Works
19-nortestosterone esterified to decanoic acid. Binds the AR with higher affinity than testosterone but has weaker downstream androgenic expression (lacks the testosterone→DHT conversion pathway at 5α-reductase — instead converts to DHN, a weaker AR agonist). Progestagenic activity raises prolactin.
Pharmacokinetics
Plasma half-life approximately 15 days (decanoate ester). Steady-state requires 5 half-lives = ~10 weeks. Long clearance: PCT doesn’t start until 21–28 days post-last-injection.
Potential Side Effects
Signature issue: “deca dick” — sexual dysfunction when test:deca ratio is too low. Keep test > deca dose always. Prolactin rises independently of estradiol; cabergoline 0.25 mg 2×/week. Long suppression tail — full PCT at 500 mg test-level cruise can take 3+ months.
Cycle & Stacking Guide
Mass cycle base: test E 500 mg/week + deca 400 mg/week for 16 weeks. Anastrozole 0.5 mg EOD + caber 0.25 mg 2×/week. PCT starts week 21 (3 weeks after last injection) with Clomid + Nolva for 4 weeks.
