Research Use Disclaimer

Everything sold through Vital Quests is classified as a research compound. That classification isn’t a marketing device — it’s the legal basis on which we operate, and the framework you accept at checkout.

Last updated: April 2026.

1. What “Research Use” Means

Research-use products are substances sold for in vitro laboratory study, chemical analysis, or educational reference. They are:

  • Not medicines. None of our catalogue is approved by the European Medicines Agency, the US Food and Drug Administration, or any equivalent national regulator for human consumption.
  • Not diagnostic devices. They are not intended to diagnose, prevent, or cure any disease.
  • Not dietary supplements. They are not food, they do not fall under food-supplement frameworks, and they are not notified to any nutritional authority.
  • Not veterinary products. Veterinary-labelled compounds in our catalogue are sold for research use only; they are not dispensed against a veterinary prescription.

Product descriptions, comparative cycle examples, FAQ entries, and glossary explanations on this Site are provided for educational and harm-reduction purposes. They are not prescriptions, medical advice, or instructions for use. Consult a qualified clinician before administering any such compound to any living organism, including yourself.

2. Your Responsibility as the Purchaser

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  2. You are ordering for lawful research, academic, or personal-use scenarios permitted in your country of delivery.
  3. You accept that you, the purchaser, are responsible for complying with every national or local law that applies to the compound’s import, possession, and use in your jurisdiction.
  4. You will not onward-sell, gift, or administer the product to any minor.
  5. You will not represent the product as a prescription medicine, food supplement, or diagnostic device to any third party.

3. Jurisdictional Legal Status

The legal status of anabolic-androgenic steroids, selective androgen-receptor modulators (SARMs), peptides, and related research compounds varies by country. Examples at time of writing:

  • European Union — most compounds can be imported for personal research use in quantities consistent with that purpose. Finished pharmaceutical products labelled for human therapeutic use typically require prescriptions under national law.
  • United Kingdom — anabolic steroids are Class C controlled substances. Personal possession for personal use is not criminalised, but import and onward supply are.
  • United States — most anabolic-androgenic steroids are Schedule III controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act. We do not ship to the US.
  • Switzerland — anabolic substances fall under the Federal Act on Medicinal Products and Medical Devices; import for personal use in small quantities is typically tolerated but regulatory discretion applies.

This overview is not legal advice. Laws change; enforcement discretion varies; your personal circumstances (profession, athletic competition obligations, immigration status) may introduce additional constraints. If in doubt, consult a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction before placing an order.

4. Athletic and Occupational Drug Testing

Compounds sold on this Site will trigger positive results in WADA, USADA, NADA, and most national sports anti-doping tests. They will also trigger positive results in many occupational drug-screening panels — particularly those used by military services, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and commercial aviation. If you are subject to any such programme, the products in our catalogue are not suitable for you.

5. Health and Safety

All anabolic, androgenic, and peptide compounds carry physiological risk. Well-documented risks include, non-exhaustively:

  • Cardiovascular impact: altered lipid profile, elevated haematocrit, increased blood pressure.
  • Hepatic impact: elevated liver enzymes (especially with oral 17-alpha-alkylated compounds).
  • Endocrine suppression: testosterone, LH, FSH, and gonadal function suppression persisting months to years post-cycle.
  • Secondary-effect estrogen, DHT, and prolactin-driven side-effects: gynecomastia, hair loss, acne, mood volatility.
  • Injection-site infection, abscess, and tissue damage in the case of non-sterile technique.

We maintain a comprehensive harm-reduction FAQ and pharmacology glossary covering these risks, their monitoring via bloodwork, and mitigation strategies. These resources are not a substitute for clinician oversight. If you are considering or actively using any such compound, establish a relationship with a qualified physician — ideally one experienced with hormonal therapy or sports medicine — and obtain periodic bloodwork.

6. Emergency Situations

If you or someone else experiences a suspected acute adverse reaction — severe chest pain, one-sided weakness, sudden severe headache, difficulty breathing, persistent vomiting, confusion, or a reaction suggesting anaphylaxis — seek emergency medical care immediately. Do not conceal the substance history from the treating physician; medical professionals are ethically bound to confidentiality and their priority is your clinical outcome, not your legal standing.

7. What Vital Quests Cannot Do

  • We cannot provide individual dosing prescriptions. Questions like “how much Test-E should I run?” receive educational references and a recommendation to consult a clinician, not a number.
  • We cannot diagnose the cause of side-effects you experience. We can point you to the right peer-reviewed resources or harm-reduction literature.
  • We cannot intervene if you face a legal or occupational issue arising from your use of our products. You accept that risk at checkout.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vital Quests is not liable for adverse physiological effects, legal consequences, occupational sanctions, competitive disqualification, financial losses, or third-party claims arising from your self-administration, onward supply, or misuse of any product ordered through this Site. This limitation is subject to the full liability framing in our Terms & Conditions.

9. If This Framework Doesn’t Fit Your Situation

If, after reading this disclaimer, you conclude that the product is not appropriate for your use case, the safest action is to not order. We do not pressure hesitant buyers, offer no countdown timers or “one-off” discount tricks, and will happily cancel any order pre-dispatch for any reason — email support.
