Recommended Dosage
Clinical dosing: 1.75 mg SubQ 45 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. Maximum 1 dose per 24 hours, 8 doses per month. Research/male protocols: 1–2 mg SubQ as needed.
How It Works
Synthetic cyclic peptide, MC3/MC4 receptor agonist. Acts centrally on brain melanocortin pathways to enhance libido and sexual response. Distinct from PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra/Cialis) which act peripherally on vasodilation.
Pharmacokinetics
Plasma half-life approximately 2.7 hours. Effect onset 45 minutes post-injection, duration 6–10 hours. Reconstituted vial stable in fridge 6 weeks.
Potential Side Effects
Transient blood-pressure elevation (monitor if hypertensive). Nausea in 40% of first-time users. Facial flushing. Skin hyperpigmentation with repeated dosing — MC1R activation side-effect.

On-demand use; not a scheduled protocol. Stacks with PDE5 inhibitors if erectile function is also a concern (different mechanisms, additive effect). Not for daily use.
