Description

This Eli Lilly tadalafil at 20 mg supports both erectile function and BPH management. Muscle/back pain at higher doses is a characteristic side-effect.

Key Benefits

  • PDE5 inhibitor — weekend-long action (~36 hour window)
  • Standard pharmacological ED treatment
  • Low-dose daily use supported by clinical trials
  • Oral dosing, on-demand or daily
  • Side-benefit: prostate-size reduction in BPH
  • Each unit dosed at 20 mg — see Recommended Dosage below for protocol-specific intake

Recommended Dosage

Clinical dosing: on-demand 10–20 mg 30 minutes before anticipated activity; daily low-dose 2.5–5 mg/day for sustained coverage. Max 20 mg in any 24-hour period.

How It Works

Selective phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Prolongs cGMP-mediated smooth-muscle relaxation in penile vasculature. Requires sexual stimulation to trigger NO release — not a spontaneous-erection drug.

Pharmacokinetics

Plasma half-life approximately 17.5 hours — effective window up to 36 hours (“the weekend pill”). Food does not significantly affect absorption (unlike sildenafil).

Potential Side Effects

Headache, flushing, nasal congestion, back/muscle pain, dyspepsia. Never combine with nitrates (life-threatening hypotension). Alpha-blocker interactions require medical oversight. Hearing/vision changes rare but warrant immediate discontinuation.

Cycle & Stacking Guide

On-demand use or daily low-dose. On-cycle AAS users with libido issues from aromatase suppression may benefit from daily 5 mg. Stacks with PT-141 (different mechanisms, additive effect).

Manufacturer Notes

Eli Lilly is an independent producer in the research-compound market. Before first use, request the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis and confirm the vial’s tamper-evident seal is intact.

Storage & Handling

Store in the original blister or bottle at 15–25 °C, away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Oral preparations lose potency faster if exposed to moisture; keep the desiccant (if included) with the tablets. Keep out of reach of children. For research and educational purposes only.
