Description

Melanotan 2 (MT2) 10 mg Genheal — Backed by a rigorous commitment to quality, a synthetic analog of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that produces skin darkening (tanning) without UV exposure. It also has notable effects on libido enhancement and appetite suppression. PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a derivative focused specifically on sexual function enhancement. This formulation is dosed at 10 mg per unit.

Key Benefits

  • Synthetic analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone
  • Melanogenic — stimulates eumelanin production for UV-independent tanning
  • Libido and sexual-function effects via central melanocortin pathways
  • Subcutaneous daily dosing with loading phase
  • Popular in fitness/physique communities for aesthetic purposes
  • Each unit dosed at 10 mg — see Recommended Dosage below for protocol-specific intake

Recommended Dosage

Research dosing: loading phase 250–500 mcg/day SubQ until desired tan is achieved, typically 4–8 weeks. Maintenance: 250–500 mcg 2–3× weekly. Some researchers front-load 1 mg/day for 1 week to accelerate pigmentation.

How It Works

Synthetic analogue of α-MSH with extended half-life and non-selective melanocortin-receptor activation (MC1R drives pigmentation; MC3/MC4R drive libido and appetite effects). Subcutaneous bioavailability high. Pigmentation develops over weeks and persists 1–2 months after discontinuation.

Pharmacokinetics

Plasma half-life approximately 33 hours. Daily dosing during loading produces steady pigment buildup. Reconstituted vial stable in fridge for 6 weeks.

Potential Side Effects

Flushing and nausea common with early doses — attenuate with continued use. Unwanted libido spikes in some users (MC3/MC4R mediated). Darkening of moles and freckles expected — new or irregular pigmented lesions warrant dermatologist review. No HPTA impact.

Cycle & Stacking Guide

Typical protocol: 4–8 week loading + seasonal maintenance. Sun exposure required for pigment activation — MT-II alone doesn’t darken skin without UV signal. Discontinue 2 weeks before planned dermatological examinations.

Manufacturer Notes

Genheal specialises in HGH, peptides, and research compounds. Lyophilised products ship with standard cold-chain documentation.

Storage & Handling

Store at recommended temperature (15–25°C; peptides and HGH at 2–8°C after reconstitution). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. For research and educational purposes only.
